- These lovely little earrings are made with the last pair of garnets I have from our find in Casco, Maine, where we rescued these beautiful natural crystals from a stone crushing quarry. I hand fabricated their simple prong settings using recycled Argentium sterling silver, which is tarnish-resistant. These post earrings are secured with recycled Argentium ear nuts.
The natural crystals are approximately 5mm across. The recycled Argentium earring posts are 0.8mm by 9mm long.
You can see where we mined these beautiful garnet crystals in my blog post about garnet mining in Maine.
Handmade in my studio in Concord, MA.
