- I mined this beautifully terminated green tourmaline crystal at Mount Mica in Maine, and designed and created this special necklace to become its treasured home. The tourmaline crystal maintains its original natural shape; I did not cut or polish the stone to give it this beautiful shape!
I fabricated the cage around the crystal using recycled sterling silver, which is attached to a handwoven recycled fine silver chain. I wove the chain by shaping and fusing each individual link using a 5000 year old technique. This is one of my all time favorite necklaces that I've ever made and I hope that it finds a special home!
Chain is 16.5" including handmade recycled sterling silver hook and eye clasp.
