- I mined this lovely Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal in New York, and hand-crafted a minimalist setting with eco-friendly recycled silver to showcase the crystal in its natural form. Herkimer Diamonds are a type of quartz that are known for their pristine clarity, smooth facets, and hardness. The clarity and angles of this crystal are exactly as they appeared in the earth; the crystal has not been cut or polished in any way! A true natural wonder!
I crafted the band and setting for this ring using recycled Argentium sterling silver, which is tarnish-resistant. The crystal sits ever so slightly askew to the angle of the band, adding to the organic look of the ring.
The ring is size 5.5. The crystal measures approximately 10mm across, and the ring has a 1.5mm hammered band. The inside of the ring is hand stamped with my Beryllina hummingbird logo and "925" (denoting sterling silver).
